Wildcats Crush Kennedy

The #1 Seed Wildcats rolled over #8 Kennedy  63-0 in the 1st round of playoffs. The rout was the highest scoring game in school history.

The Wildcats started out strong in the 1st, scoring on 30 yard pass from Evan Johnson, Senior, to Dyllan Conway, Junior to make it 7-0. Later in the quarter, the Wildcats would score again, this time on a 13 yard pass from Johnson to Casey Hinds, Senior to make it 14-0

The Wildcats stormed into the 2nd quarter, with Steve Webb, junior, scoring on a 60 yard dash into the end zone to bring the score to 21-0. Johnson was at it again to make it 28-0,  dropping a 16 yard pass to Cameron Tucker, Senior. Tucker would run into the end zone again in the 2nd, scoring on a 15 yard run to make it 35-0. Johnson would again find Conway in the end zone unguarded with a 45 yard bomb to end the 1st half at 42-0.

The relentless Wildcat offense didn’t stop in the 3rd quarter, with Atlin Hall, Freshman, storming down the field and deking out defenders in a 45 yard run to make it 49-0. The Wildcats put the final nails in the coffin to their historic run in the 4th. The Wildcats scored on a 14 yard jet sweep by Trevor Neuse, Freshman to bring it to 56-0. Hall would again find the endzone on a 1 yard run late in the game to end it at 63-0
