2017 Women’s Golf Preview

The Westminster Varsity golf team is getting ready to have a great season. With 2 stellar senior captains, Macie Daniels and Abby Nall, the golf team is looking forward to a good season filled with even better memories.

Daniels is coming off a very solid junior season, finishing 5th in the lowest 18-hole score in the metro area. While Daniels also plays lacrosse, she excels on the golf course.

“I love golf. I am super excited for this year and I think we will be pretty good,” said Daniels.

Nall is not far behind Daniels with the talent level and is excited to be a captain on the varsity team. While this golf team will only take 5 players in the postseason, all of the team will be sure to contribute to the rounds throughout the regular season.

New to the team are juniors Chandler Estes and Jordan Shaw, and although young, they bring a certain level of experience to the team that makes them a vital part of the wildcat’s roster.

Senior Bridgette Grimm, although injured, is looking forward to watching her team succeed.
