Spirit Week Day Five: All Grades Recaps

On the fourth and final day of games at Spirit Week, the competition got heated. The Boys and Girls Tug O’War Finals took place, and more Half-Court Shots were taken. Today, Lip Sync will be performed by all grades, so no games will be played.

Half-Court Shot: Once again, no half-courters fell for any grades.

Boys Tug O’War: Despite questionable enforcement of the newly installed crawling rules, the Seniors took the easy victory over the Juniors. Even if the Seniors had been playing by the rules, they still probably would’ve won. The Freshman Boys took third place after defeating the Sophomores for the second time this week.

Girls Tug O’War: In the most shocking performance of Spirit Week 2019, the Freshman miraculously took down the Seniors, who were missing their star player, Adrianna Minner, in the Girls Tug O’War championship match. The Junior Girls took third place over the Sophomores.

Spirit Week 2019 has been great. The intensity level and competition has been unlike anything else. Tonight, after the Spirit Night game, the winners of all competitions, as well as the entire week, will be announced. Will the Seniors the uphold their title, or will the Juniors shock the world? Time will tell.
