Wildcats advance to Tournament Championship

Coming off of a narrow victory over Whitfield, the Westminster basketball team squared off against St. Mary’s.
The Wildcats battled early and established a 34-24 cushion at the half despite strong offensive rebounding by St. Mary.
In the second, the Cats warded off multiple runs by St. Mary’s. Aaron Cook, senior, lead all scorers with 23 points and PG Nick Cacciarelli lead the team in rebounds. Cliff DeGroot also hit 4 three-pointers and finished with 15.
The Wildcats will face Francis Howell in the MICDS Tournament championship game tomorrow night at 7:30 pm.
