Wildcat Football Players named to All- Conference

Following the 2017 football season the Varsity Football team had numerous players named to the all conference first team, second team, and Honorable mention.

Named to the All conference first team were Center Luke Vassal, Right Tackle Kyle Dolan, Kicker Andrew Kempen, Defensive End Isaac Johnston, Saftey Denver Parker, and Running Back Atlin Hall.

Named to the All Conference second team were left tackle Mike Thoenen, running back LB Battle, Defensive End John Fergene, and Linebacker Zach Braiser.

Players receiving honorable mention were Quarterback Chad Briden, Linebackers Charlie McCracken, Receivers Grant Lavalle and Levi Alldredge, Guards Patrick Andrews and Chase Mayfield, and finally Cornerbacks Caleb Layton and Jeremiah Thompson.

While it was a rough season for the Wildcats there are still many positives to be taken away from this season as many underclassmen were able to gain quality experience including Lane Davis, Ben Straub, Arthur Jordan, Denver Parker, Toby Davidson, Bennie Anderson, Jack Powers, and Max Radlof.

The Cats will have a strong nucleus of rising seniors and juniors to go along with a very talented incoming Freshman class, a few sophomore studs, and a great coaching staff the Cats are poised to make a strong run at state and regain their position as top dog in the Metro League.
