Charlie Wu

The Wildcats sailed to an easy 16-1 victory over MICDS on Thursday.

The team continued from their 10-0 domination at home of MICDS to the road by scoring a leadoff homer on the very first pitch of the game from Dominic Cusumano.

The team continued scoring in the second inning, tacking on six more runs. Michael Kolb, Brennan Orf, Blaise Matheny, and Jack Smith, all drove in runs.

With a substantive cushion, Clayton Guzdial kept punishing MICDS from the rubber. He pitched the complete five inning mercy-rule game, striking out four and allowing one run on two hits.

With an impressive record of 11-1, the Wildcats look to continue their winning ways at home on Saturday with a double header against Cape Norte Dame (4-2).
